Zeynep Kızıltan
Zeynep Kazgan Kızıltan was born in 1968 in Istanbul. After graduating from Robert College in 1986, she got her BA in Economics in 1990 from Bosphorus University. She later attended the Diploma Program in International Relations at the Bologna Center/School of Advanced International Studies of the Johns Hopkins University and received a graduate degree in International Relations in 1991. She joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey in 1992 and since then served in various capacities in Turkish representations in Geneva, Almaty, Antwerp, and Brussels. She came to New York in 2007 as Deputy Consul General of Turkey and she is currently posted as Counselor in the Turkish Mission to the United Nations in New York. She is married with two children. She speaks English and French.
