Alpdoğan Kantarcı
Alpdoğan Kantarcı graduated from Robert College in 1986. After studying dentistry at Istanbul University, he has received his doctorate degree on periodontology. He has worked as a private dentist, a professional tourist guide, and took a position at Istanbul University’s School of Dentistry as a faculty member. He has moved to the USA in 1999 and started working at Boston University School of Dental Medicine as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2004, he has received his specialist degree as a periodontist and became a full-time faculty member at Boston University. He is also working as a scientist in the field of periodontology and inflammation research and has published more than 40 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. Currently, he lives in Boston and keeps close relations with the international and Turkish dental and health science communities.
